Nikolas Galli and Gabriele Beretta have been awarded in the latest call of the
Horizon Europe Connect Fund promoted by Imperial College London.
The programme provides funding of up to £10,000 to support international
collaboration activities aimed at developing project proposals and consortia for
future opportunities within Horizon Europe, through workshops, visits to partner
universities, and participation in conferences.
Specifically, Gabriele Beretta is involved in the project Unsealing Europe’s
Cities: An Atlas and Decision Tool for Soil, Water, Heat and Biodiversity
Resilience, while Nikolas Galli is involved in the project Harnessing AI to
understand the hydrological and ecological impacts of agricultural shifts on
global health.
Both initiatives build on the work developed within the European Talent Academy
2025, further strengthening international collaborations and the research
activities of our department.
